Interface Design: Tweak Media Player Skin

After releasing Plastic Media Player Skin in 2005, Twisted Pixels looked to revolutionize how mobile audio was controlled once again.  In 2006 Tweak was born.

Like Plastic, Tweak helped to make Microsoft’s Windows Media Player Mobile more touch responsive, but also brought another unique feature to the table: animated buttons. In the past, media player skins were a flat boring design, with buttons merely changing color when interacted with. Tweak introduced a beautiful 3D design, with buttons that ‘moved’ beneath your touches.
